Formation Meeting next Thursday

Castlemaine Community Investment Co-operative is officially forming!

When: Thursday 1 February, 5:30pm.

Where: 16A Lyttleton St Castlemaine.

The Formation Meeting is the final step in becoming registered after the name and rules were approved by Consumer Affairs earlier this month. After this meeting we will be able to open a bank account, sign-up members, and start collectively making decisions about investments.

Everyone is welcome at the meeting, but we will not be discussing investment plans or the Hub building. The Formation Meeting is a legal requirement for forming the Co-operative (agenda below).

We’ll start signing up members after the meeting and will host a launch next month.
